Advent - Hope and Light
/Today, and for the rest of December, we will be preparing for and anticipating the birth of Jesus. This is a season of time that we call Advent. Each Sunday we will light a candle as we tell the story of Jesus coming to the world. Today is the first Sunday of Advent.

Some people use an Advent wreath as a special decoration during the season of Advent. If you would like to make your own Advent wreath, you can print the following image. Read the directions at the bottom of the image and have fun decorating!
