Easter: God Makes All Things New

Happy Easter, everyone!

Today we have so much to celebrate!

On Easter we celebrate that Jesus came alive again, showing us how God can make all things new. Jesus’ love is even more powerful than death, and his love never ever gives up. Let’s read the Easter story together.

(If you would like, you can print out this story, cut it into sentence strips, and hide the sentences like an Easter egg hunt. After you find all the strips, you have to put them in order from 1 to 12 before reading the story.)

Video: Signs of New Life

Easter is a celebration of new life! Jesus became alive again, and God’s love can make us feel full of life, too. Springtime seems to have LOTS of examples of new life, new birth, and new growth. We asked all of you to help us find examples of how God makes things new, and look at all the amazing things you found!

Activity: “He is Risen” Coloring Pages

If you have access to a printer, you can have a grownup help you print the following pages for you to color. I wonder what colors you will choose?

Prayer

Would you like to pray this prayer out loud? You can imagine all the kids and their families reading it aloud together, celebrating Easter today in our homes.
